When you use TashiCell services and its applications, we are aware that you trust us with your valued information. Therefore, this Privacy Policy is meant to help our subscribers understand what kind of data and information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it after its collection. It also describes when and how we may change this Policy, and how you can contact us should you have any inquires or comments. Amongst the other services that TashiCell provides, it includes creation of new content in services such as our website, blog, and mobile apps. To makes such services better and relevant, you share your information with us and as you proceed to use our services, we want you to be clear on how and why we are using information and explain the ways in which you can protect your privacy.
What information do we collect?
When you log into our website and blogs or use your devices to access our mobile apps, we collect your mobile number that can be used to identify an individual or send the OTP (One Time Password) to sign into our mobile application.
How do we collect the information?
We collect information about you and your associated device(s) when you use MyTashiCell mobile application or otherwise interact with us or with third-party services through our mobile application and when you sign into MyTashiCell account in our website as well.
Information given to us:
We archive your information when you sign up for a MyTashiCell account or MyTashiCell mobile application. When you do, we will ask for your mobile number and we may also ask for personal information, like your name, address, date of birth, contact information, email address, and ID number if required in future.
Information through our services:
We also collect logs when you use our services. When you use MyTashiCell mobile applications, your device information such as the type of device used, its operating system version, and the number registered with the device (most commonly your mobile number) are collected in order to provide applications that are most compatible to your device.
Log information:
When you log into our website account or blogs, we automatically collect and store information like the type of services most frequently used, or data on the most searched queries and questions.
When you interact with third-party services (such as applications from banking institutions, etc), the information we collect from such partners are treated as private information and are not disclosed.
How do we use your information?
We use the information we collect to provide convenient services, improve and develop new ones, improve user experience and the overall quality of our services, and to protect TashiCell and our subscribers.
When you contact TashiCell through mobile applications or website to communicate your suggestions or inquires, we keep a record of it to help solve any issues you might be facing. Your email addresses are used to inform you about our services, their changes, upgrades and/or improvements, and provide you with relevant product features.
Depending on the different services we use, the information collected is :
- To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and services in which you are most interested.
- To allow us to better serve you in responding to your customer service requests.
- To quickly process your transactions be it in terms of payment, or subscribing to new services and packages.
We will ask for your consent before using information for a purpose other than those that are set out in this Privacy Policy.
How do we protect your information?
In order to strive towards information privacy and protection, we will always ask for your consent before using any information for any purposes other than those set out in the privacy policy. We will not share personal information with any other organization or individual unless it is with specific consent from you to do so or if directed to do so by a competent court having jurisdiction in the country we operate in.Any content that violates our Terms of Services, or is seen as fraudulent or security concern, will be disclosed in order to protect the rights, property or safety of TashiCell or our users or the public as required or permitted by law.
- We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards. We only provide articles and information.
- We never ask for credit card numbers or personal banking/ financial information.
- We do not use Malware Scanning.

TashiCell does not use cookies for tracking purposes, especially not for storing your mobile application personal passwords.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information.

Advertisements
Google's advertising requirements can be summed up by Google's Advertising Principles. They are put in place to provide a positive experience for users. At present, we have not enabled Google AdSense on our site but we may do so in the future. If we choose to do so, you will be informed and updated accordingly.
COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)
When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents/ guardians in control. The Federal Trade Commission, United States' consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children's privacy and safety online.
We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old or of any age for that matter.
Fair Information Practices
The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and its concepts have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe. Understanding the Fair Information Practice Principles and how they should be implemented is critical to comply with the various privacy laws that protect personal information.
In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices we will take the following responsive action, should a data breach occur:
- We will notify you via phone call or any other modes of medium when known.
- We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle which requires that individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law.
- This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or government agencies to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.
Changes in the Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time but it will however not reduce the users’ rights without your explicit consent. For any changes and implementations, we will notify you of these changes through emails or other known methods in case if emailing is unavailable. An updated version will replace the old document, but the old will be archived for your information and purpose.
