VoLTE

What is VoLTE?

VoLTE stands for Voice over LTE. VoLTE allows us to make mobile phone calls over modern 4G network, resulting in clearer and more reliable connections than other older networks. VoLTE not only improves the audio quality on calls, but also allows us to keep our calls on the 4G network where they would otherwise drop back to the older 2G & 3G networks.

VoLTE allows voice calls to be ‘packaged’ and carried through LTE networks. This would mean 4G data accessibility even during calls.

For now, VoLTE works on limited phone models only.

Phones supporting VoLTE

Following phone models support TashiCell VoLTE as of now:

Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S22 Plus, Galaxy S22, Note 20 Ultra, Samsung F42 5G, Samsung M40, Samsung M32 5G, Samsung  M33 5G, Samsung A33 5G, Samsung A52s 5G and Samsung A53 5G.

However, we are working with other phone manufacturers to release the software patch to enable VoLTE.
